‘Doorway to Sacred Lands’
'Doorway to Sacred Lands' was created while visiting Navajo Nation's Monument Valley. I walked into the North Window and was stopped in my tracks while inspired by its doorway-like passage revealing the lands further in the distance - that feeling of orienting to 'what more could be out there!' Shot in December, the low winter sun provided bright lighting for the red rock and blue sky to contrast each other dramatically in a bold, center leading composition.
