The ‘Belt of Venus’ color spectrum hangs over a small bundle of trees on the Libby flats of Medicine Bow National Forest of southern Wyoming. The pink is alpenglow from the reflection of the sun off the atmosphere and the blue is the shadow of the earth as the sun sets opposite the view.
