eirenic: Behind the Shot

‘Eirenic’ was created in an aspen grove near my cabin in Rollinsville, CO. Roughly a 4 mile hike, this particular grove is somewhere I have found myself over the years gravitate towards when I am frustrated, anger, or lost - but ultimately seeking peace and resolution. The grove has offered me shelter to voice my inner turmoils, space to feel, and time to breath. The mature shoots of this sizable grove have grounded me back to equanimity many times. This particular visit came with an intention to capture the beauty of this space, emulating the feeling of being seen, feeling the peace amongst the golden hues of the changing leaves and sensing the presence of something greater.
