‘Desert Bodies’ was created in the Mesquite Sand Dunes of Death Valley- home to the Timbisha Shoshone people. As humans born of this earth, we often anthropomorphize her other creations. This one being the shifting desert sands shaped by the desert winds - creating smooth limb like mounds of sensual curves, undoubtedly triggering deeper, more primal connections embedded in our biology and nervous systems. Our beautiful mother is alive and well, always creating.
